Ricon Recruitment is a recruitment agency specialising in the engineering and construction industries and the cross over activities between these two. We provide companies in construction and engineering with permanent, contract and temporary staff, to help ensure the smooth, safe and efficient operation of their business, across the UK.
Within our team we have vast knowledge and experience of the engineering industry and a particularly detailed appreciation of process plant, including food processing and beverages. We recruit for companies operating across the UK, for positions ranging from welders and installation engineers to structural steel estimators and project engineers.
We provide staff for civil engineering and infrastructure projects such as energy, roads, rail, water, waste, power stations and telecoms. In construction we recruit staff for housing development, retail and office development and public buildings such as schools, colleges and hospitals.
We ensure that the staff we recruit for our clients have the necessary training and credentials to work safely and efficiently in the roles in which we place them.
In the sectors in which we specialise, there is a critical skills shortage. We have client companies who need skilled staff, but really struggle to locate them. From the ‘supply angle’, we see numerous candidates who are keen on the positions on offer, but have gaps in their training and qualifications.
